Raised with a deep love for the warmth of soul, the richness of jazz, and the emotional immediacy of R&B, Farah chose to invest in her craft with the same seriousness she brings to the stage. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Commercial Music from Florida State University — graduating cum laude in 2022 — developing not only as a vocalist, but as a songwriter, producer, and audio engineer. That multidisciplinary education informs every performance: Farah doesn't simply sing songs, she understands them from the inside out.
Her professional journey has placed her in some of the most prestigious settings in live entertainment. As the founder and lead singer of Soul Candy, an Atlanta-based R&B, soul, and funk ensemble she established in 2020, Farah has built a reputation for commanding performances that leave audiences wanting more. Soul Candy's appearance at the Okeechobee Music Festival in 2023 brought the group national visibility, cementing their place on the festival circuit and introducing Farah's voice to audiences across the country.
That same year proved to be a landmark season. Farah took the stage at One Music Fest in Atlanta as a backup vocalist for neo-soul icon Lady Wray — a performance that showcased her ability to hold her own alongside the most celebrated voices in contemporary soul music. Her stage presence and musicianship speak to years of dedication and an innate artistry that simply cannot be taught.
Today, Farah holds a weekly residency at the Ritz Carlton Atlanta — perhaps the most telling testament to the caliber of her work. The Ritz Carlton is not a venue that settles for anything less than exceptional, and Farah's ongoing presence there speaks volumes. She is trusted by the property's leadership to embody the standard of luxury their guests expect, week after week.
Beyond Atlanta, Farah is an established national artist within the premier wedding and events circuit, performing with Emerald Empire Band, Philly's Finest, and Louis Pettinelli Entertainment — organizations known for placing only the finest performers at the most exclusive events across the United States. From black-tie galas to intimate garden ceremonies, she brings the same unwavering professionalism and emotional resonance to every occasion.
As a solo artist, Farah continues to write, produce, and record original music — channeling her own experiences and perspectives into work that reflects the depth of a true artist. Her debut EP, “Farah Bijou,” will be released this summer.
